The Ashes is great for relaxing weekends away, perfect for longer holidays & also a convenient overnight halt being less than 3 miles from junction 37 on the M6.
Visit the nearby town of Kendal which boasts a unique blend of independent speciality shops, high street names, a traditional market & regular farmer's market selling superb local produce.
The whole area also offers a wide range of pubs and restaurants to suit everyone's taste and pocket or should you choose to eat in, there is also a large supermarket within easy reach of the caravan site.
Site facilities are of the highest standard and include a modern toilet block & heated shower rooms. Our all-weather pitches have electric hook-up and are suitable for caravans, mobile homes or trailer-tents. NO TENTS
