Camping Moulin de Laborde
In a charming green valley, on the small river Thèze, you will find our child friendly, family run campsite Moulin de Laborde. The 17th century watermill houses the bar, the take-away, the restaurant (where we serve local specialties of the Quercy and Périgord like Magret de Canard and Cabécou).
The reception and the grocery shop with daily fresh bread, baked on the site.
There are excellent sanitary facilities, also for disabled, free use of hot water, a baby bath, a washing machine and a dryer, large pitches with electric hook ups, a swimming pool and paddling pool, both with slide, a lake with boats and rafts, volleyball courts, football area, adventure playground with tepees, a covered area with ping pong tables and pick nick tables, and a lot of space for children to play.
The surroundings are very suitable for walking and mountain biking (wood paths joining the Grande Randonnee), but also canoeing on the Lot River, rock climbing, playing tennis and fishing is possible nearby.
In Montcabrier, at 1 km walk, there is every Friday evening a producers market in July and august. There are castles (Bonaguil, Biron, Milandes, Castelnaud-la-Chapelle), bastides with bustling markets (Monpazier, Monflanquin, Villefranche du Périgord) and the Cahors vineyards to visit (and taste!)
