Buttersyke Campsite
Buttersyke Campsite is a the ideal venue to stay during The Tour de France, providing easy access to a number of prime viewing locations along both Stage 1 and Stage 2 of The Yorkshire Grand Depart 2014. The Yorkshire campsite is situated in the shadow of Almscliffe Cragg, on Dunkeswick Lodge Farm, within 4 miles of Harrogate (the finish of Stage 1), Knarsborough (along the route of Stage 2) and Harewood House (where The Festival of Cycling takes place); giving spectators the opportunity to watch and experience the race at it’s best.
Buttersyke Campsite is set amidst beautiful Yorkshire countryside and is superbly placed for the motorway networks. The family friendly run campsite with caravan and tent pitches offers visitors a number of facilities including onsite catering, toilets, hot showers and additional parking. Camping accommodation will be available from Thursday 3rd July to Monday 7th July 2014, giving visitors the opportunity to arrive early to avoid any road closures.
Tent Pitches
Tent pitches are 6m x 8m, if you require a larger pitch please contact us prior to booking to arrange your accommodation. Tent pitches are available from 9am on the day your booking commences. Pitches offered are for one tent, plus one vehicle and a maximum of four people.
Caravan/Motorhome Area
There is a craven and motorhome designated area with pitches sizes of 6m x 10m. If you require a larger pitch please contact us prior to booking to arrange your accommodation. Pitches are available from 9am on the day your booking commences. Pitches offered are for one caravan or motorhome, plus one vehicle. No electric hook up available.
