Glamping in Bell Tents at Wattle Hill Oast

Upon arrival and after a short tour around the pool, changing rooms and commercial grade Gym we help you to your tent in the back of the camp landy.

Your tent welcomes you with a hamper of bits to get you started and also comes fully equipped with 'proper' beds for parents and camp beds for children, all the cutlery and crockery you can think of, outside seating and of course the fire pit for the essential marsh mellow cooking.

When it is time for bed, the changing rooms are recently constructed to a high finish. Each changing room has 2 showers, 1 WC, hairdryers and changing mats for little ones.

We need help feeding our chickens, turkeys, goats and pigs daily before you start you days adventuring.

We are set in a rural location but within 30 minutes driving there are lots of fun coast and country days out. To name but a few, Bodiam Castle is less than 5 minutes away.

We are lucky to have many National Trust & English Heritage properties near by. We also have Bedgebury Pinetum and Bewl Water some 15 minutes away. Hastings Sealife centre, smugglers cove and Hastings Castle are less than half an hour away. We also love visiting Rye and Camber Sands where, if the weather is hot you can't go wrong for sunbathing.

Don't forgot on the not so sunny days you are welcome to relax and splash in our 13 metre indoor pool and sauna or have a work out in our Gym. Within the pool room we also have a play pen to help with the logistics of toddlers around the waters edge.

After a busy day there are plenty of fantastic pubs to eat at if you can't face cooking. If its a BBQ you fancy however, don't forget you can purchase our sausages and eggs or our neighbours beef. All delicious.

Our philosophy here is to allow enough to keep the little ones entertained so the parents can unwind. Hope to see you soon.
