Welcome to Boone North Carolina. It's a gorgeous time to visit and there will be a great deal to do and quite a few people here doing it!.

Asheville, Black Mountain and local wineries can all be visited in a day. You can also visit Blowing Rock and Banner Elk during your stay here or Boone (home of Appalachian State University...where football is KING). Or you could take a day trip to Old Salem, in Winston Salem NC .

Peak fall colors typically start around the 2nd week in Oct. Enjoy a drive to Valle Crucis, visit the original Mast General Store, drive the back roads up through Banner Elk to Beech Mountain. Also enjoy cruising the Blue Ridge Parkway and visiting or hiking by Grandfather Mountain.

Do you enjoy cycling? There is a wonderful trail between Fleetwood and Todd, all paved, very flat and quite scenic.

Explore award-winning wineries across North Carolina and within our 3 major viticulture areas: Yadkin Valley, Swan Creek and Haw River Valley.

Skiing, backpacking, hiking, gem mining, white water rafting ,fishing and hunting are all within reach.

Stoney Fork is the perfect place for planning your group event. There are Camping and Bed and Breakfast accommodations. Something for everyone, if some do not like the beautiful outdoor sleeping, stay in the B&B with all the comforts of home.

We will close the campground and the farmhouse to outsiders to accommodate your exclusive event (depending on availability). You will need to book your event and place a deposit 40 days prior to your special date.

Private Campground*Rate is $270.00 per night.

*Price is based on 15 campsites (60 people and 15 tents). Overflow space is available at an extra charge of $2.00 per person and tent.

Private Farmhouse B&B *Rate is $270.00 per night.

*Price is based on all three rooms with 2 people per room, including Breakfast.

Payment -We accept cash or money order only.

Reservations – Reservations can be made with check payment received 2 weeks prior to arrival date. There will be no refund for cancellations. Return check fees of $50.00 will apply. Walk ins are always welcome
