Moorhouse campsite
Moorhouse is a small family run site at Holford, approximately 10 miles west of Bridgwater in Somerset, situated at the foot of the picturesque Quantock Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
With level large well-drained pitches for tents motor homes or caravans there are two camping pods available for those who prefer to go glamping.
Moorhouse is an ideal site for those wishing to simply enjoy a quiet break in the countryside or explore the area. Dogs (with responsible owners) are welcome.
Moorhouse Farm is situated just off the A39 between Bridgwater and Minehead, in a quiet but accessible location. There are pubs within walking distance at Holford and Kilve. Kilve also has a post office and store. More shops, pubs, restaurants and garages can be found a short drive away at Stogursey, Nether Stowey, Keenthorne and West Quantoxhead.
The Quantock Hills are marvellous for walking, mountain biking and horse riding, with a huge network of footpaths, tracks and bridleways. You will see many species of animals, birds, flowers, herds of Quantock Ponies and the famous Quantock red deer. Nearby Attractions
There are local beaches a short distance from the site at Kilve, Lilstock and Dunster. Dunster Castle, Minehead, Exmoor, the West Somerset Steam Railway, Cheddar Gorge, the Mendip Hills and Weston-super-Mare are all within easy reach. The county town of Taunton is half an hour away.
