Farm on the Hill Eco Campsite
Our small, secluded eco-campsite is set on the edge of a newly planted woodland and wildflower meadow, in the idyllic countryside of Prestwood, with magnificent views over-looking the Churnet valley and Weaver hills. .
From the campsite you can explore, either on foot or by bike the beautiful, and undiscovered Churnet valley with its hidden lakes and stunning scenery. You may even catch sight of a kingfisher down by the stream, or the allusive green woodpecker...
For those of you wanting to take a trip out (although there really is no need!!), you make like to visit the Peak District, only 7 miles, the historic towns of the Potteries, Sudbury Hall and the museum of Childhood, or even Alton Towers (3 miles) There is something for everyone....
I’d just stay here though, and enjoy the peace, maybe have a cup of tea and a slice of cake in the terraced gardens! :-)
Barbecues are provided for you to use and charcoal and firewood are available for sale on the farm.
There is also a communal fire circle that can be used; there's nothing quite like a campfire to provide the perfect end to the perfect day.

£10 / tent / night for up to 2 people in tent.
Additional people in tent - £5/person
the campsite can also be hired for private use.
