Yurts, Camping and Glamping at Mill Haven Place in Pembrokeshire
Mill Haven Place are a family run campsite in Pembrokeshire that offers traditional pitches for caravan, camper or tent camping as well as 2 fully renovated holiday cottages, The Barn and The Dairy.
For those looking for something a little different we have 4 traditional yurts available to rent complete with a kitchen tent and eco facilities.
The entire site is family orientated and limits the number of pitches to 5 at any one time making this a peaceful yet open and friendly campsite in Pembrokeshire. Oh, and campfires are allowed!
In 2010 we welcomed tents, motorhomes and caravans for the first time. With a maximum of 5 on site it ensured that we never felt overcrowded and yet people were close enough to make friends, allow children to roam yet keep them in sight and still maintain their own privacy.
The camp field is a 1-acre space and this autumn we will be planting more trees to provide a bit more shelter and privacy. Each pitch has a picnic table, a BBQ and a fire pit for campfires. There is a shower/toilet block a few metres from the field, with a family shower room with toilet and a further individual toilet and shower as well. There is also a fridge and freezer available and a huge log pile for chilled out campfires – wood is available at Ł4 for a big trug.
Fancy a change or looking to book with other family or friends? The campfield is adjacent to the yurt field and quite a few people book pitches to accompany yurts ensuring they can be close to their friends and family “glamping” it! We even had people upgrading to the yurts when the weather wasn’t so kind!
The Holiday Cottages
There are 2 holiday cottages available -The Barn and The Dairy. The cottages are located around a large, open grass area making them perfect for bigger groups booking the cottages together, but also far enough apart to provide the privacy some seek. Tucked away from the other camping pitches, the holiday cottages are perfect for enjoying the late summer evenings whilst the kids are wrapped up safely in bed.
The Barn
The Barn can accommodate 7-9 people in 3 bedrooms and the living room.
The Dairy
The Dairy is smaller than The Barn and can accommodate 2/3 people in 1 bedroom which makes it a perfect holiday cottage for couples or smaller families.
The Yurts
We have 4 yurts all positioned on stilted terraces allowing you to bask in the afternoon sun on the deck chairs provided. Each yurt also comes with its own picnic bench covered by a tented kitchen area complete with all the cooking and washing utensils you could need. A fire pit and trug are provided with pre-cut fire wood. Refills are available at a cost of just Ł4. The yurt also comes with a double bed as well as 2 single fold-out sofa beds, chest of drawers and a wood burning stove. Lots of fairy lights and candles also included!smrtovnice
