Stowford Caravan Site in Devon
Located in the heart of North Devon, a mile from the nearest main road along its own private drive, Stowford Farm Meadows has a superb rural setting. There are 500 acres of rolling Devon countryside, mature woodland and lush green (caravan and camping) meadows lined with Beech and Ash tree Devon hedges.
When it comes to Devon caravan sites you will find Stowford Farm Meadows is the most peaceful of retreats and it makes an ideal base for exploring a wide variety of outstanding scenery and for visits to many places of interest and family attractions.
Children will love the facilities available at Stowford, especially the “Petorama” area where they can feed and play with a great variety of animals. For the more adventurous, why not visit our purpose built Stowford Riding Centre for a horse ride.
The highest priority for most families are the bathroom facilities. At Stowford there are currently five spacious, modern amenity blocks each with a laundry facility attached. There is also a separate disabled and family area where even more privacy is available.
These facilities are all of an excellent standard and a high priority is placed on cleanliness, as top marks in numerous official assessments confirm. Our state of the art fifth amenity block includes quality fittings throughout, such as underfloor heating. This block also includes facilities for the disabled and a family bathroom.
For your evening relaxation and enjoyment you have the choice of the “Old Stable Bars” or the “Old Barn Bar”. During the high season entertainment is scheduled and is suitable for all the family - Discos, Karaoke and Party nights.
There is also the luxury of our new Coffee Lounge attached to the main Bar area where you can enjoy freshly ground coffee, white, black, latte, cappuccino or espresso; then spoil yourself by combining it with our hot and cold food selection served from the new Bar Kitchen.smrtovnice
