Brightlycott Barton
Brightlycott Barton is a small family run site on an organic beef farm for those campers who like to keep away from the crowds. There are 20 level pitches with hook ups on a 4 acre site as well as additional space for tents. Our pitches are generous in size so noone feels hemmed in and campers are able to unwind and relax in a spacious and lovely environment.
We have a smart toilet and shower block with wash up area and free use of washing machine and fridge freezer. There is also a games room with table tennis and table football as well as a swing frame for younger children to enjoy.
The views from the campsite are stunning and we are ideally placed to explore Exmoor National Park as well as visit the local sandy beaches at Woolacombe, Croyde and Saunton. The nearby Tarka Trail is one of the country's longest continuous traffic-free walking and cycling paths, and forms part of the Devon Coast to Coast Cycle Route running through lovely Devon countryside. The National Trust property and carriage museum at Arlington Court is just 4 miles away and nearby Marwood Gardens is well known for it's collection of camellias and magnolias.
We welcome well behaved dogs and the pretty tree lined Roborough lane, adjacent to the campsite, is perfect for dog walking.
We also offer caravan storage and many of our regular visitors choose to keep their caravans onsite, thereby minimising the stress of getting away.
Brightlycott is ideal for those who prefer a quieter campsite and we would be delighted if you phone us for further information or alternatively visit our website.
