Dogs are welcome on the Park, but must be kept on a lead at all times unless using our large dog exercise area where a dog washing facility is also provided. There is ample walking around the park for your pets (on lead).
The park is surrounded by an extensive network of scenic footpath walks, the favourites being to the famous Glastonbury Tor (0.75 mile) and to the town (1.5 miles) but if you are a keen walker there are many more to choose from.
For those who enjoy cycling there are some excellent well marked cycle routes along quiet country roads to local villages The Somerset Levels, The Peat Moor 'Iron Age' Visitor Centre, or The Westhay National Nature Reserve (8 miles) or to the coast (17 miles).
For the Fisherman we have a half acre pond well stocked mainly with carp but some roach and tench, less than 300 yds from most pitches with good access and parking for the less able within 25 yds of the pond. Even if not a fisherman the pond is still a very pleasant spot to take a stroll.
The whole Park is a haven for wildlife, from birds to badgers, so if you enjoy birdwatching or are just looking for total peace and relaxation in a beautiful setting we are sure you would enjoy our Park.
