Hole Station Adults only Campsite is a peaceful, tents only campsite set in 23 acres of native deciduous woodland, situated in very rural West Devon - midway between Dartmoor and the beaches of North Cornwall and North Devon.

Hole Station Adults only Campsites is completely secluded, not overlooked, set in idyllic wild flower meadows and woodlands and approached via a private lane - take a look in the Photo Gallery, a picture paints a thousand words.

Wouldn't it be just great to be sitting around a glowing camp fire at night, idly chatting and listening to the sounds of the woods? How about watching the barn owls depart their nest for a night's hunting, gliding by in ghostly silence, or watch a family of deer leaving the woods at dusk, heading for the surrounding lush meadows.

Hole Station Adult only woodland Campsite provides a total break from life in the outside world, set as it is in such beautiful Devon countryside, with zero light pollution (On a clear night you will marvel at the clarity of the night sky), fresh clean air, woodland and countryside walks, and abundant wildlife.

Camp Fires - Every pitch has it's own firepit and campfire bench, the Hole Station Campsite supplies camp fire kits that include firelighters, kindling, and graded logs. Campfire kits can be purchased from reception, no need to pre-order.

Self Selection pitches - You choose your pitch on arrival, we don't allocate.

Campfire Grill Cooking Kits - We hire out really good camp fire cooking kits that are easy to use

Woodland camping - Hole Station campsites pitches are set in broadleaf native woodlands.

Pre-Erected Tents (Rent-A-Tent Camping) - Pretty much everything you will need for a comfortable camping holiday is supplied, each pitch has a large covered cooking and dining area for your exclusive use. All you need to bring is sleeping gear, a toiletry kit and your food! Rent-A-Tent is a super introduction to camping for 'newbies' who want to give camping a try, and also suits seasoned campers who appreciate the ease of everything ready on arrival.

BYO Camping - Traditional camping, you bring all your own kit, we supply a fantastic woodland location.

Hammock Camping - 'Hangers' are very welcome. We have just what you need, trees, hundreds of them!

No Dogs

No Children - Hole Station is an adult only child free zone.

Pub Grub and a Good Pint at our local, the Torridge Inn.

Activities and Things to Do - There are those who spend the entire day chilling on the campsite, and those who spend their days out and about. And there is plenty of out and abouting to do in these here parts! Click on the Things To Do tab for a long list of ideas. It isn't possible to be bored when you stay at Hole Station Campsite.

Facilities - Eco loos, electric showers, wash basins, washing up area with hot water, a freezer for ice packs and extensive recycling facilities.

Book swaps - There is a small library on site where you are welcome to do book swaps

No Music, Tv, Musical Instruments or Radios at any time - Just the sounds of nature, and once you tune in (It takes a couple of hours after setting up) you will notice plenty of it!

No Cars on Site - That's a good thing! No headlights shining in your tent, no slamming car doors, no numpties driving 50 yds to the loo at 3am. There are unloading bays at the campsite entrances, the car park is adjacent to the campsite.
