Bardsea Leisure situated on the beautiful Furness peninsular is a friendly, four pennant park, sheltered within a former quarry.

Our 10 acre park has been extensively landscapes to accommodate 173 static and touring pitches. Our 83 all weather touring pitches are fully serviced featuring mains drains, electric and satellite T.V connection. The park is open all year round for touring caravans and Motorhomes.

All our static caravans are privately owned. We sell both new and used static caravans to be sited on the park.

Our regularly praised shower blocks are spacious and incorporate underfloor heating.

Site facilities include: Laundrette. Pot wash, WI-FI (available at an additional cost), Large children's play area, Onsite pond, Dog exercise area, Large accessory shop and awning showroom and Service centre.

Just a short walk away is the picturesque market town of Ulverston where you will find many specialist shops, cosy pubs and eating houses. A swimming pool and leisure complex, and an 18 hole golf course are both close by. As Bardsea Leisure is situated on the gateway to the Lake District there are numerous attractions catering for all!!.

The Park now has the largest touring sales and accessory shop in Cumbria, with an extensive awning showroom. Bardsea Leisure Park also features workshop facilities that are able to rectify most problems however large or small, including complete servicing and insurance work.

Bardsea Leisure Park, developed in a disused quarry, was established in 1976. The present owners, Terry and Gillian Varley, purchased the property in 1984 and transformed it into a very high standard caravan park. In recent years their son, Jason, has joined the family run business.

Situated at the gateway to the Lake District, Bardsea Leisure is not far from the historic, picturesque market town of Ulverston. Our privately owned 10 acre park is sheltered within a former quarry, which has been extensively landscaped and is always beautifully maintained. The park is open all year round for touring caravans, campervans and trailer tents.

Our family shower rooms have been recently refurbished, featuring under-floor heating throughout, resulting in regular praise from our customers. The children have an adventure playground to explore, a fishing pond (only barb-less hooks are used) and many other attractions and activities are close by.

All of our static caravan's are privately owned and we sell new and used static caravan to be sited on the park. The static caravan season runs from 1st March until the end of November. Each of our 171 static and touring pitches are fully serviced, all-weather pitches, featuring mains drains, electric and satellite TV. We also serve hot and cold food to eat in or take-out.
