Camping U dvou orechu
The campsite is situated on the edge of the Šumava, and is situated at an altitude of 550 meters and partly covered with terraces.
On the whole site we can post up to 30 caravans or tents. If desired, each one can be provide with electricity and a drinking water tap is always at a distance within 20 meters.
On the whole site, you have a splendid view over the surrounding hilly landscape.
The sanitary facilities are located in the main building, also there is a place where you can do the dishes or hand wash your clothing. Would you use the washing machine that is also that possible.
If you don’t use electricity, we will be happy to freeze your ice packs for you.
The Šumava
Is a landscape of deep forests, quiet and romantic valleys, clear rivers and streams, extensive wetlands, flowering mountain meadows, breathtaking vistas and mysterious lakes. Especially the months May, September and October are beautiful. Nature is at its best and often it is very pleasant weather although the nights can be cold.
Because of its location at the former iron curtain the flora and fauna in this region is very well preserved. Some examples of animals that you, with any luck can spot are, lynx, fox, wild boar, the roe and red deer, but also various plants such as orchids.
You can travel trough this area on foot, by bike or by car.
It is also possible to go for a canoe trip on the river Otawa. Would you rather go out on horseback, in the nearby village Podoli you can rent a horse for a few hours.
