Camping Bungalows Altomira
Situation:
Camping Altomira is located in Navajas, near the city of Valencia. The campsite is situated between two Natural Parks and only 35 km. from the Mediterranean Sea. It is an ideal place for people who enjoy cycling and walking.
Services and facilities:
In Camping Altomira there are bungalows to hire and pitches, each one with electricity and water.
We have two types of bungalows: for 5 and 6 people. They are equipped with bathroom with shower, WC, kitchen with gas cookers, tableware, cooking utensils, refrigerator and microwave, TV, heating and air conditioning. Clients only need to bring their own sheets and towels.
During the year the campsite offers many services such as bar, restaurant, swimming pool, reception, supermarket, fresh bread every day, laundry-service (two washing machines and a dryer), Internet-Wifi, public phone, living room with TV, barbecues and activities for children in high season.
During the winter there are special offers for long stays.
Natural Environment:
Camping Altomira is situated between two Natural Parks: Espadán and Calderona, in the heart of the Alto Palancia region, a perfect place for those who enjoy trekking and bicycle tours. There is direct access to the Vía Verde de Ojos Negros, the longest walking and cycling route in Spain with more than 65 km. that connect all the region. Through this path it is possible to visit the lake known as Pantano del Regajo.
Navajas is famous for the medicinal waters and its numerous springs and fountains. You can also visit there a 60 m. waterfall known as El Salto de la Novia.
Interesting visits:
One of the most interesting visits is Valencia. Camping Altomira is located near this big city: only 60 km. away. It is possible to go to Valencia by train. The train station is situated 500 metres away from the campsite. There are trains to Valencia every day. With the train you can arrive at the town centre, where you can visit the old area of Valencia, the cathedral, the City of Arts and Sciencies, etc.
Segorbe is the biggest village in the region and it is also an interesting place to visit. This town has an historic patrimony and is famous for its entrance of bulls and horses, declared a festive activity of international tourist interest.
In the surroundings it is possible to visit the longest navigational underground river of Europe, located in La Vall dUxó; Sagunto with its impressive castle; Teruel and Castellón.
The nearest beaches are only 35 km. from Camping Altomira, at Puerto de Sagunto.
