Wheal Rodney Holiday Park
Nestling in the countryside, surrounded by farmland, yet only a half mile walk from the beautiful seaside town of Marazion, and the world renowned St Michael's Mount, Wheal Rodney is a quiet, small park, offering bed and breakfast, ten modern self catering bungalows, and 30 touring and camping pitches, along with campers facilities, laundry, and a warm indoor swimming pool.
Close to bus routes, the coastal footpath, cycle path, and easily accessible from the railway station at Penzance, Wheal Rodney is an ideal location for those wishing to explore this wonderful area, on foot or by car.
Our B&B and comfortable self catering bungalows are open all year round, and short breaks are always available in low and mid season.
Wheal Rodney is run by resident proprietors Steve and Siān Lugg, who personally supervise all aspects of Wheal Rodney.

Touring & Camping
Wheal Rodney is a small, quiet site offering pitches for tourers/campers, set out in three different areas. Leading from the entrance of the site towards the leisure complex and amenity block are two grassed areas providing 9 level marked pitches each which have electric hook up available.
This is where we place caravan and motorhome bookings, although any tents requiring electric hook up are also welcome. Water taps are available close to each.
Camping Meadow
Beyond the complex you will find our camping meadow with sheltered level pitches for tents. We are also pleased to offer a number of pitches for single hikers / cyclists without cars at half the normal pitch fees per night.
A well behaved dog is welcome at a small charge.
Touring Pitches
These are the Pitches with electric hook-up available for touring and motorhome bookings and for any campers requiring electric hook-up.
Whilst children are, of course, welcome, we should point out that Wheal Rodney has no playground or recreation area for ball games etc., and tends to attract adults and young families who appreciate the standards kept at the site and our close proximity to the centre of Marazion.
Teenagers can find it boring here!
We ask that young children are well supervised at all times and Under 8's are accompanied to the shower/toilet facilities.
We do not have a bar on site but our unofficial clubhouse, The Fire Engine Inn, is just 5 minutes walk up the country lane towards Marazion and has fantastic views. Children are welcome, there is a beer garden and good food is served daily.
Our nearest local shop - a small newsagents/general store is about 750 metres away, and the centre of Marazion, beach and St Michael's Mount is 15 minutes walk away.
Pitches are available from 1.00 pm on day of arrival to 11.00 am on the day of departure. As a small site, we have no holding area, so cannot accept arrivals on site before 1.00 pm, unless arrangements have been made with reception. Caravans/motorhomes travelling overnight, during mid and peak season, and wishing to take up their pitch from 8.00 am onwards, must book the pitch for the night before your early morning arrival. The basic tent pitch fee applies for these holding nights, regardless of what you are booking on that pitch for your holiday. Same applies to late departures. Please ask for a quote - it can work out very cheaply!

Reception
Has lots of tourist information and is open most of the day. We are happy to make reservations at local restaurants and pubs, arrange taxi hire etc. Circular walk route maps from Wheal Rodney are available free of charge, and we offer a small library where guests are welcome to borrow books.
A public telephone adjoins reception.
Swimming Pool
Our warm indoor swimming pool is heated to a minimum of 30°c making swimming a very pleasant experience.
The pool is open all year, and is ideal for gentle exercise.

With tumble dryers, washing machines, and 3 sinks. Outdoor drying lines are also provided.

The Fire Engine Inn
Wheal Rodney is a quiet site, with no clubhouse, but just a five minute walk up the lane brings you to our popular local, and 'unofficial' clubhouse - The Fire Engine Inn, Marazion. Open all day, the Fire Engine serves good food, lunchtimes & evenings. Our guests can be assured of a warm welcome.
There is a pool table, occasional entertainment, a weekly quiz night, lots of good beer and plenty of fun.

The Fire Engine Inn also has a popular beer garden with wonderful views over St. Michael's Mount from both the bar and the garden.
Cycling
The new Cornish Way Cycle Path is just 400 metres from our site entrance.
