Wyreside Lakes Fishery
We offer a mixture of carp, pike and coarse fishing with a variety of species and size which will provide a challenge to both the professional and novice angler alike.
The Fishery is renowned for the quality of carp it has consistently produced over the years and was bestowed the 'Cooper Heyman' cup award for excellence in restoration and conservation.
If you want to fish, then day tickets, over night tickets and season tickets are available. We have a bar / restaurant on site, so you don't even have to pack any food supplies, we can even deliver it to your door (bivvy) step!
For longer periods of stay there are also washroom and shower facilities.
Why not come and holiday with us either in our comfortable Farmhouse B&B or by using our 4 star touring caravan and campsite.
Take in the calm and tranquil surroundings of the River Wyre, Bowland Fells, woodlands and many nature trails.
Or if you prefer town life, Lancaster, Morecambe and Blackpool and the South Lakes are only a short driving distance away.
We have a range of brochures and links with the Northwest Tourist Board if you require any assistance planning your holiday. We are also part of the 'Bowland Tourism Initiative' where local businesses work together and can offer you (our customers) a better, more informed holiday experience.

The Campsite
We are an award winning campsite with a full range of facilities for overnight stays including hard standing pitches and lush green fields to camp on and there are toilets and a shower block including disabled access.
For the children there is a safe outdoor play area and lots of wildlife and a wood to investigate.
If you just want peaceful break then try the many walks around the lakes and go to the beautiful Fox's Wood taking in the fantastic views of the River Wyre.
If you like to be a bit more lively at the weekend, then come into the Fishermans' Bar and Restaurant for a superb meal, drinks and a sing along!
Booking in advance for caravans is preferred but not essential. Club rallies are welcome between the months of October to March. Prices may vary depending on extra facilities available.
Fishermans Bar and Restaurant
The Fisherman's Rest is the life and soul of Wyreside lakes Fishery. Fishermen and visitors alike can talk, drink, eat good food - meeting people as strangers and leaving as friends! The Restaurant caters for all tastes, from a hearty English breakfast onto lunch, sandwiches and bar snacks. On weekend evenings our a' la carte menu is available. Choose to dine in the main bar lively with music and conversation or if you wish a quieter area is curtained off for those wanting a more romantic setting.
During the winter, make yourself cosy by the roaring log fire then in the summer months; take your drinks and meals outside to enjoy the sunshine and beautiful countryside.
Fishing
The Fishery is situated in over 120 acres on the Duchy of Lancaster's Wyreside Estate. A variety of way -marked paths through the Fishery connect the lakes and their are many attractive walks in the surrounding countryside. The Fishery has a mixture carp, pike and coarse lakes offering a variety of species and size which will provide a challenge to both the professional and novice angler. The Fishery is well known for the size and quality of carp it is capable of producing.
A full range of ticket options including day and overnight sessions are available. Season tickets for Wyre and Banton's lakes are also available. Competitions can be held on River, Quarry or Fox's lakes by booking in advance.smrtovnice
