Penrose Camp Site

Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, the wonderful walks around Loe Pool, Penrose Estate and the Coastal Footpath by camping at Higher Penrose Farm situated on the coast between Helston and Porthleven on the B3304.

The site will be open in July and August. The site is 5 minutes walking distance to the coastal footpath where you can walk along to Loe Bar and Porthleven Beach and 5 mts the other way you walk down into the Penrose Walks.

£5.00 per person per night / £2.50 per child per night (hot showers included!)
The facilities are basic, only sinks, showers and toilets.

There are no marked pitches and you use the area you require and enjoy the freedom of choice.

The field is just one field away from the coast and surrounded by a cornish hedge which provides shelter. You are 5 minutes walking distance to the coastal footpath where you can walk along to Loe Bar and Porthleven Beach and 5 minutes the other way you walk down into the Penrose Walks.

You are within walking distance of the beautiful walks around the Penrose Estate, and the scenic fishing village of Porthleven and the Coastal Footpath.

Porthleven is the UK's most southerly working port. It is ideal as a base for a holiday.
A fishing village on the South Coast near Helston with its own sandy beach, harbour, pubs, restaurants, Art Galleries, and Supermarket.

Sports facilities include tennis, football, cricket, bowling and snooker clubs
Boat trips can be taken from the harbour

Flambards Theme park is in Helston another must for the children.
