To find us you need to come into the Llanberis village centre, along the main village high street, find the brown tourist sign for the Youth Hostel, turn onto capel coch road going up and out of the village, we are the next stop up the road after the YHA, about half mile uphill! Please call at the house first.
We are a short distance from the village of Llanberis making us nice and secluded and in the midst of peaceful beautiful scenery and wildlife. The Llanberis village itself is a bustle of activity all summer long only quietening back down in the colder months of winter. With loads of outdoor things to do from climbing, abseiling, diving and watersports, to just good old walking. You can also take the train up Snowdon, we are situated just a short distance away from the station. The slate museum and electric mountain are all just a short walk or drive away. The village itself is well serviced with grocery shops and cafes, plenty of pubs and places to eat out.
We have a lake on the farm which is about a half of an hour walk away from the campsite, and is a fantastic get away from it all spot to just sit and relax, maybe try a bit of fishing, or just watch the wildlife.
We are a working farm, with cattle sheep and poultry roaming free, we allow well behaved dogs, there is ample space for excersing them.
Please clean their poop's up afterwards.
We welcome children but as its a working farm, PLEASE do not let them wander off, make sure they are under control at all times!! We want them and you to enjoy your stay with us.
If we happen to be lambing or shearing, or have baby calves at the time of your stay, you are welcome to come and see, just ask.
There is a Waterfall about a 10 minute walk away its a spectacular sight after rain fall.
Pop along to Pen Y Ceunant tea room, where a warm welcome awaits you.
Highly recomended scones and 'bara brith', and lovely home made lemonade.
We have buzzards, kestrels, peregrines(altough a little shy), jay, woodpeckers and herons, and many more species of bird living and nesting here. Swallows annually nest in the barn and in the roof of the house, as do bats, and also redstart return each year to nest above the window of the ladies loo!
We now have the farmhouse ready for 2009 season, weekly lets, or short breaks available, the link from our website.
