Carrowkeel Camping and Caravan Park
A very well maintained Camping & Caravan Park in county Mayo, in the rural West of Ireland; set on 3.5 acres of parkland. The park is bordered by the river Clydagh, so don't forget you fishing rod and frying pan.
The campsite has 28 serviced hardstands and 30 tent pitches.
A special feature is the 'Clubhouse' where you can sit by the open fire, have a meal and / or a drink and meet other camping guests. There are regular music sessions in the (peak) season, so don't forget to bring your instruments.
The nearest town is Castlebar which offers appr. 35 pubs; restaurants; supermarkets; gift shops; multi screen cinema; swimming pool; banks and lots more.
County Mayo boasts an unspoilt natural landscape with beautiful beaches and cliffs, endless boglands and beautiful hills and mountains such as Croagh Patrick (the holy mountain) and Nephin. Areas of outstanding beauty in the area are Achill Island, Connemare and the Belmullet peninsula. You'll soon find out that your holiday just isn't long enough.
