Situated within the beautiful Brecon beacons national park is our family run campsite, open only for the duration of the Hay festival.
The remainder of the year the field is used for agricultural farming. Our team works very hard in the lead up to the festival to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible.
The Hay Festival
Founded in 1987 Hay festival continues to attract comedians, writers, illustrators, musicians and filmmakers from around the globe, bought together for your entertainment.
The Hay festival provides a relaxed atmosphere with lots to see and do, arts and crafts with the children, quiet reading spots for you to enjoy your new books or simply enjoy some of the food on offer from all around the world.
Hay- On- Wye
The town itself is bustling during the festival with pop-up stalls, markets and shops selling local produce.
Hay- On- Wye is famous for all of its book shops.
There is also a selection of cafe’s and restaurants to enjoy.
If you want to put you’re walking boots on the ‘Offas Dyke’ trail runs through this beautiful town providing you with a chance to appreciate the beauty of the river Wye and Brecon beacons.
