Avocet Glamping is sited on one acre of land. We have eggs available from our free range hens and hopefully goats milk soon as one of our two Nubian goats Maizy and Martha will be kidding in May!
We often see flocks of thousands of birds migrating which is breathtaking! Early morning deer can often be seen at the bottom of the garden. The sunset can fill the sky with splendid colour and on a clear night the stars are magical. Occasionally you can hear a ships whistle in the distance and see ships passing through the fields as the land is very flat.
Our luxury bell tent has a wood stove and a plentiful supply of wood to keep you cosy and warm during your stay, It sleeps 4 adults comfortably plus a child, A double mattress and up to three single mattresses as required.
Unlike other sites we do not charge for logs for the fire (maximum 2 wheelbarrows of logs per week).
We have a lean-to tarpaulin which will be next to the tent for a bit of shelter whilst cooking.
Our facilities are brand new, we have a well sized wetroom with a shower, sink and toilet, and a porch to one side of the outbuilding with a double belfast sink for washing up.
We hope you will visit and enjoy this peaceful place
