A short walk through our own pastures and wild flower reserve (there are no cliffs to climb) will bring you to the quaint old world fishing village of Robin Hood's Bay, considered to be one of the most picturesque villages in England. Where 'Baymen' eluded the press gangs amongst the numerous twisting cobbled streets and alleyways, and smugglers moved their contraband among the maze of secret passages to evade the excisemen. The precipitous main street is so steep that the pavement is a staircase. Cottages cluster one on top of the other, in an astonishing fashion down to the sea itself. The Bay is truly a paradise for artists and walkers.
The beach provides many delights for young and old with its long scaurs and abundant marine life, waiting to be explored. Make sandcastles, splash in warm rock pools or hunt for fossils, swim or just laze in the sun. At high tide observe with delight the splendour of the sea pounding the cliffs and headlands. Listen to the restless ocean greeting you. Behold the rocky headlands and quiet coves of our Heritage Coast, so spectacular, that it declares itself to be a National Treasure
One reason so many families return to us year after year is that children can't wait to come back!
Caravan holidays are fun which makes them the first choice with youngsters. They love a holiday without restrictions, hotel rules or set mealtimes and there a whole variety of activities and places to enjoy with the new friends they soon make! We have an Adventure Playarea to delight every child.
