Weir Holiday Park

The stunning surroundings provide a haven for wildlife and visitors alike. The owners – David and Christine Hind – are passionate about encouraging wildlife and natural flora and fauna within the Holiday Park and the Park has been awarded a David Bellamy Gold Award for protecting and enhancing the natural world and is certified as Honey Bee Friendly.

Weir Holiday Park was also a finalist in Welcome to Yorkshire’s White Rose Awards (2016) and won a Yorkshire In Bloom award.

Weir Holiday Park is open from 1st March – 31st October and is a great destination for those wishing to visit York, the North York Moors, The Yorkshire Wolds and the Coast. The Park is also convenient for day trips to Hull – City of Culture 2017.

There is space for 25 touring caravans and motorhomes – with some seasonal pitches available in a private area; and the Park has fully serviced holiday homes with riverside locations available. There is also a private lake for fishing. The site has a launderette, toilets and showers and children’s play area.

Pets are welcome.

The site is located in Stamford Bridge and it is a two-minute walk to shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants in the centre of this thriving village. There is also an award-winning farm shop just a mile or so away. And there is a regular bus service in to York.

We are happy to offer advice on places to visit, things to do or see and places to eat. Just ask! We've lived in a the area a long time and are familiar with all the attractions - from historic houses like Castle Howard, through to York Maze!
