The camping is 4 miles from the market town of Bala, on the banks of the River Tryweryn close to the village of Frongoch.
Level hardstanding for caravans or motorhomes, 16A electric hook-ups for family tents plus peaceful grassy pitches with picnic benches and fire pits.
Wifi is free and dogs are welcome too.
If you’re after some river action – kayaking, canoeing or whitewater rafting – you can’t beat the location. Tyn Cornel Camping gives access to the white water rapids of The Mighty Tryweryn just a few metres from the camping and a lovely riverside walk leads to the National White Water Centre a few hundred metres away.
The site is well situated for outdoor enthusiasts. Mountain bikers, hikers, climbers and road cyclists will be satisfied that the campsite is close to great routes and venues to enjoy their activities in North Wales.
