Standen Lodge Farm Campsite
We are a small tourer caravan and tent camping site situated 1 mile from the seaside town of Mablethorpe. The campsite is an 8 acre small holding surrounded by agricultural farm land. We have some farm animals including Sheep, Goats, Chickens, Ducks, Geese and Turkeys.
Standen lodge camp site farm animals When you visit us you will feel as though you are getting a country farm experience and can sample some of the freshly laid free range duck, chicken and goose eggs, which we sell from the house. There are 8 acres of land which is mainly open meadow land so there is plenty of space for field games.
We have regular visits from all sorts of wildlife especially birds although its not uncommon to see families of foxes crossing the fields. We have regular sighting of barn owls ( even in the day ) Standen lodge wildlife pheasant, kestrels, buzzards, swifts, lots of wood pigeons, wagtails, pheasants, partridges and many other types birds.
We have recently converted one of our stables into small modern toilet and shower block and there is also a washing up area for campers. We have chemical disposal point, grey water waste and dry waste facilities.
We have 6 very large electric hook up pitches on our camp site which measure 13m wide and around 15m long, and a further 20 pitches without electric. We can accept 5 tourer caravans/ motorhomes / trailer tents / and tents.
Mablethorpe is a small Lincolnshire seaside town with traditional seaside attractions like Mablethorpe beach amusement arcades, fish and chips, cafes, seaside rock, nick nack shops and a renowned award winning beach and caravanning sites. There are regular trips up and down the beach by the beach train or on donkeys. There is the seal sanctuary which is a great day out to see rescued seals and many other animals from the sea and land. The local Haven caravan campsites in Mablethorpe has swimming facilities and other amusements which can be accessed by purchasing a day pass.
Mablethorpe donkey rides Within a short driving distance you can get to Cleethorpes, Ingomels or Skegness where you will find theme parks, amusements and other activities, or you can visit Louth or Alford for traditional country towns with busy old style shops and attractions.
Mablethorpe has many shops including Lidl, Co-op and soon to have a Tesco. There are cafes, takeaways ( which most will deliver ), pubs, a sports centre, cinema, fishing lakes, a park with rides for children. Regular bus services and many taxis. So you will never be without something do or somewhere to go.
