Wild Gatherings

We are located in a beautiful part of Perthshire called Strathearn. Our campsite is a 5 minute walk from the popular Auchingarrich Wildlife Park.

The campsite itself is located next to our fishing ponds and has a real wild feel about it.

When a group books the campsite there is the option to pitch your own tent or hire one of our pre pitched tents. All you need to bring is your Sleeping bag.

You can have fires and barbecues and we are dog friendly. You need not worry about neighbors as you are well away from the nearest house.

If you wish you can get involved on the on site activities such as fishing, bushcraft and archery. The site is good for groups of around 25 persons as that is how many you can get in the tipi. Just imagine it, everyone packed into a tipi with a fire going in the middle.

This means whatever happens with the weather you will be dry and warm. As you are camping next to the ponds you can bring your fishing gear or alternatively you can hire from us. There is plenty entertainment in digging for worms for your bait.

Or why not take an activity with the onsite activity provider who offers the archery and a range of survival and bushcraft experiences. These are suitable for all ages.

Or if you are looking for something a little more relaxing you can take up a Fly Fishing lesson or just d a bit of pond dipping. If you want to go offsite there is the beautiful village of Comrie which is only about a 2 mile cross country walk. Crieff which is ether a 2hr walk or a 15 minute drive has supermarkets and swimming pool.
